"Michael Keane is slow and has no recovery pace."
There he is just casually burning off 1 of the fastest players in football.
Meep, meep.

So you want us to carry on with the system that's given us such entertainment this season? No problems with Keane when we defend deep and as a squad player for the teams and games where that is necessary, but if we play attacking football his lack of pace means he'll always be a liability. What an odd quibble. Just give the boy credit for how he played this season, his best season for us in a season where very few got anywhere near.
If football was all about foot races one on one then that clip is impressive, but I'm sure if you trawled YouTube you'd find footage of him being caught flat footed and being turned by players not noted for their pace. Keane is fine,if we want to finish in the top ten again next season."Michael Keane is slow and has no recovery pace."

I still cant believe Carlo had them both on the bench a few weeks ago, madnessHe and Mina are still our best CB pairing when both fit.
Not sure how you extrapolated that from my post... Your post, damning him with faint praise, undermining what has been a good season, seemed particularly petty and mean spirited. Basically if someone makes a mistake or has a poor game they need to be sold appears to be the general consensusLol at all the chatter before the match in the transfer thread was about how awful Keane was and how he needs binning off and then he turns in a cracking performance. He's been decent this season, plenty of others should be on their bikes before Mickey Keane.
Seems to be, a lot of lads in here obviously live faultless lives!Basically if someone makes a mistake or has a poor game they need to be sold appears to be the general consensus
Godfrey is probably player of the season but this has been Keane's best season for us.For me player of the season, very consistent and normally very reliable.
Best season for us so far.
It's a fairly straightforward principal,we bought him from a team that plays with a predominantly defensive set up, he's excelled when we set up to defend. Ancelotti I hope is looking to play more positive football. Keane will be a good squad player for the away fixtures when we will need to defend in depth. But if he's a regular starter that would be a pointer to a lack of ambition. Hope that makes it clearer. Not sure how you extrapolated that from my post...
