Yeah him and Holgate comical at times.. the one where Coleman has to come across as Keane let it go over his head and Holgate didnt see the runner in behind!!
And the amount of times Holgate was 5 yards behind Keane playing everyone onside was unreal.

If Gomes cant take a ball into his feet, take a touch and move it on, then what can he do.
I thought that was the one single thing he was meant to have in his locker.

It was a terrible pass, a little bit short and in a dangerous place. Keane does this all the time.

Gomes obviously should be doing much better in that situation (being awake would be a start) but that ball should never have came in the first place. Just get rid of it.

Terrible pass. Gomes should have done better with the touch, but to bounce it at him, wide, under pressure was shocking.

Also got absolutely lost at one point with a ball over his head. Nothing came of it as (I think) Pickford got out just in time, but Jesus. He was back-pedalling slowly just watching it.

City have got world class players all over the pitch.

And they don’t play balls like that anyway.

Balls to people under pressure maybe. But ones that are fired in sharp and to feet. Not bobblers that are inaccurate.

Even a team like City knows when to play the ball and when to get rid.

Play it back to the keeper if you have to. Playing a ball like that is dangerous and he does it often.

I've given him and holgate some stick. But besides Keanes hospital ball for the goal, I didn't think him and holgate defended too badly on the whole. But they were awful in possession
