It’s turned from criticism of an Everton player into outright bullying from cowards who want to make themselves better at putting a decent human down. A shame but it brings me comfort of the inner turmoil and insecurity this psychological slugs must endure daily to make them hate in this way.

Difficult one, take him out of the lineup or keep him in. Lampard has a major task trying to get him in right frame of mind. I suggest not playing a high line for starters.

I don’t wish him any ill will, just hope he never plays football for us again as he’s not suited to front foot football which is the way we’re going to play under Lampard.

Not his fault we’re not playing the ways where he looked alright under Ancelotti and Allardyce and even Silva at times, much like how it’s not Coleman’s fault he wasn’t adequately replaced three or four years ago.
