Once again Michael Keane is being unfairly singled out. The guy was obviouly struggling due to the fact that he was busy attempting to cover up the ineptitude of the rest of our defence (and midfield) whilst also trying to concentrate on his own game. I sometimes wonder if any of you lot have actually played football.

I mean at one point this season he literally fell over in control of the ball and cost us a goal.....

I'm not a professional but is a centre half meant to do that?

I thought his light blue boots would scare the crap out of the opposition too. He's a nice centre half who avoids aggro at all costs, a bit of a Sergeant Wilson sort of chap, credit to him. He can't even snot out a multi nostril hod as far as Keown couldlol

Sits in his own box for 90 minutes against Chelsea and has a good game, becuase he doesn't have to run.

Have to play outside his own box again and he's terrible.

Needs phasing out from first choice but with Mina having glass in his legs, Holgate being a gum chewing dolt, Godfrey not knowing where he’s playing most weeks and Branthwaite still being raw, he has to keep playing

The options aren't great at the moment, are they? Having said that the defence don't look like a unit at all this season.

Not great at all having him at the back while we're about to blood 2 new full backs. He's the epitome of everything a Everton centre half shouldn't be.

It was obvious within a few weeks of signing him that the club had made a mistake. That was 2017, the same year Coleman suffered the leg break that finished him at the highest level, and yet the pair of them are still mainstays in the team four years later.
