Feel's like a while since we've had an absolute thunderbast.... like that.

Keane, football aside seems like a very genuine and good man. Considering all the rotten people in football, was delighted for him to get that redemption last night, I thought he played well barring the pen, which he just said honestly in his interview afterwards he's been caught on the blindside.

Proving the argument I've presented over the years that in a defence with fullbacks that don't constantly leave him exposed wide, he will thrive,he's a good 18 yard box defender, it's when he's been asked to do a hell of a lot more 1v1, wide defending and so forth he struggles. Ancelotti had us set up in a way where he was protected and he did well. Dyche is doing the same with his defenders, focusing on them defending first, protecting the middle. Keane is benefitting from that.
This is something that really bugs me, our record for goals scored from outside the box is awful. Townsend against Burnley and Keane last night is all that springs to mind. Our shooting is crap, but we already know this.

I mean up until recently we rarely attempted those. Now we currently do, even if they're not always looking as great as that, but at least it's an attempt to score, in a way lol
