Jags at the pit, or Keane last night????

As a goal, Jags for me, just. But that blammo might be a goal that keeps us up.
Based on the celebration alone, Jags for me shades it. We'd been dire for much of the game and the crowd was glum, and then boom - a worldie against the RS.

I still fondly remember the total bedlam that happened after he scored; plus, Kevin Campbell was close to us and he went absolutely mental when it went in.

But... last night's goal is probably already a more important goal, like his other great striker last season against Palace.

So you have a guy that can play with both feet, hit the long ball and blast it into back of the net. Every now and then give him a bit of cover and let him have a go and make teams respect him. That will open up more play for others when they realize he can punish you for leaving him open. And Keane can spray those diagonals so that is only a good thing.

Sundown is approaching guys. You know what you need to do, or the vampires shall find thee.

Please note all factual non abusive opinions of Everton demigod Mr Michael Vincent Keane related to Everton’s need for FFP appeasement.

Therefore I CAN celebrate Keane’s winner last night but the vampires are coming for some of you as sundown. You know who you are.

Have I just seen you ever so slightly try to wriggle out of this??? Wowzas

To be fair you will not have to look far to get farm more damning opinions on Michael Keane.
Those are generally fair enough comment.

Keane.

Not a massive fan of the Jags goal. I forget the circumstances of where we were in the table, but I just remember us being absolutely terrible and disappointing in that game despite the draw.

Why would any of this take anything away from that goal?

Not the goal itself, just the excitement surrounding it for me. I just looked and it was the 2014 season after we had just hit 72 points. Hopes were high. We then conceded in the 86th on the first game of the season to draw, conceded a last minute winner to Arsenal to draw, lost 6-3 to Chelsea with the Besic madness, lost to Palace at home after being up 1-0. It was just obvious things were going wrong and we wouldn’t be CL contenders again.

But when a blammo goes in, you dont think about that at the time.

What can I say. Mirallas got injured too. Liverpool had also lost 3 of their previous 5. I just remember being frustrated as the glimmer of hope that we’d finally crack the CL spots was clearly not true.
