I dont get this either. He's had at least 3 extended periods since he got here, which were like a cycle being first choice, decent, rubbish, losing confidence, getting dropped, and then reinstated to restart the cycle. I can accept he might be a 'confidence player' and maybe people think he's technically better than the other choices we have, but I would take Coady & Mina's mentality and other attributes now for the relegation fight, and even throughout the season It was so clear last year that we were lacking leaders, and Tarkowski improved that, but so did COady & Mina
