Roy Keane spot on analysis

“Really poor from Everton. Keane gets dragged out, gets done with the one-two. But very good play from Forest.”
Keane found himself caught by a swift one-two as Morgan Gibbs-White managed to find space and get a shot away that was then turned in by Johnson. Dragged into no-mans land, it was a poor error and it ultimately cost Everton but that’s how fine the margins are at the top level.

In summary, Michael Keane continues to make the same mistakes that he`s done his whole carreer.

Think Dyche partners him with Tarks because it worked at Burnley but prem has moved on since then, Mina should be starting until he gets injured again.

Honestly think Coady is slightly better aswell even though both make some bad errors

I agree about Mina, although is it worth playing him for a half before he gets injured? Don't remember the last time he completed a full game.

Not sure about Coady being better though (or less worse, more accurately). For his faults, Keane is pretty solid in the air, better than Coady, and together with the other donkeys, should contribute to a few goals from set pieces. Pretty startling how badly Coady got done the other week one on one, and it was the same when we played against West Ham when Rice walked past him. Not saying Keane wouldn't have had the same, the one two at the weekend was very easy for them to get past him, but I think I'd rather have him at the moment. Can't believe I'm writing that, but there we go.

Remember when you thought someone was daft enough to purchase him for an actual fee? ....lol were stuck with him till his contract which feels infinite at this point maybe get some suckers to loan him out but that's it

Looking at Dyche’s game plan the likes of Tarks, Keane and Mina are best equipped for it - wouldn’t be surprised to see a variation of those three for the rest of the season. Whether folk like that or not.

Coady isn’t really an edge of the box defender and isn’t going to dominate balls into the box. Holgate and Godfrey definitely aren’t, they’d be suicidal to play in this set up.
