I feel for him, he needs to go. He's had a disaster since signing here unfortunately. Think he could do well at a different club but it's over here for him.

Heart of a Mouse, Dyche has to admit defeat and just forget about him, there is stubborn, loyal and just plain stupid.
Sad in a lot of ways. Came on, did fine, then gave away the softest of penalties. Would love a good redemption story but seems very unlikely.

Was a penalty all day long. He’s error prone and can’t be relied on, we have known this for a long time, so it feels unfair to blame him. Dyche put him on when there was no pressing need (i.e. an injury to a CB), so this is on him.
….we looked ok when he came on but if we were going to give a penalty or soft goal away, there’s absolutely no doubt who’d be the cause.

It's rarely been that he's abject and terrible for 90 minutes, he's largely quite competent which is I think why so many managers have given him so many chances.
You're just guaranteed at least 1 goal as a direct result of him having some existential crisis as the ball flashes across him.
He's a magnet for bad luck and you can debate whether it's his fault or the natural laws of the universe until the cows come home but the crucial thing is to please never give him another minute in an Everton shirt, please please God.
