Thought you would like to hear this 😆
He would have to knock a nought off the end of his wages though

I wonder, what do other pro's think about people like Keane?

He could leave for a club that wants to play him. But instead, he chooses to sit on the bench because it pays more.

I think the Winston Bogarde debacle has highlighted the greed in the game.
I certainly don't blame him. He sits on the bench knowing he isn't going to get any flack for any mistakes that were bound to happen and get paid well for it.
Again, I would do the same. It's just one of the most odious parts of the horrible modern game and we are an unfortunate victim.
He was given a few games to show he isn't completely useless and he blew it under Shaun. Thank god for Jared.

Not really going to defend him as him good enough to be here becuase agree time is for him to move on a long time ago. Think he has had moves like the loan to italy but club have blocked it. Does have a good attitude when you look at players like maupay and holgate, he does what the manager wants.

It’s accepted in every profession that you can be put in golden handcuffs.
You are paid to highly, and although every one thinks it would be best to move on, the not finding another company willing to pay you is a big factor, mortgage to pay, kids school fees etc etc.
These men have a short period of earning potential and have seen professionals go bank rupt within a decade of retiring. Pretty sure every professional deep down recognises this the world they move in.
70k a week is 3.5m a year
He prob has 4 more years earning. 14m is a lot of money.

Joke of a player.

Joke of a man.

….i don’t know the lad but nothing I see suggests he’s a ‘joke of a man’.

Can’t blame him for signing an extraordinary contract even if he’s an ordinary player. Last summer posters were predicting he was a Dyche favourite and would be first choice last season, that was never going to be the case. I’m not aware of him turning down offers to move in January and even if he did, he has to do what’s best for him and his family.

With just a year to go on his contract and given his age and lack of game time, I do think he could be tempted to leave if an offer comes in but I’ve not seen any links.
