Bit of a landmark signing for me, the fact he wants us reflects well on what is going on at Everton, I guess he knows he'll more get game time with us but it is still nice to see us in the box seat for one of the country's best young defenders.

Under Mike Walker, we were all set to sign a Swedish international. Jan Eriksson. We were away on a pre season tour. The player was at Walker's presser, talking about signing for Everton. Had an Everton shirt on.

Never signed.
