I was always wary of this signing.

Defenders who play in a low block on the edge of their box always look good..Look how good Huth and Morgan looked playing a low block when they won the league with leicester.

He was the same at Burnley last year and Burnley defenders this year look good playing that low block defensive system.

Put low block defenders in a system where they have to defend a higher line and you'll see if they are a good defender,Keane is being found out now that he's pretty much an average defender.

The fee for Keane was outrageous with 1 year left.

We've went and bought centre halves who are only comfortable sitting deep and are expecting them to play a pressing game. All day today you could see them charging out like slugs and totally missing their man, resulting in chaos at the back for us.

Really the buck has to stop with Walsh and Koeman. Even us armchair managers can see that Williams and Keane are too immobile to play a high line.

Always felt Maguire was the better option out of the 2, burnley play in such a way that allows there defenders to shine in a defensive unit just look at Tarkowski and Mee this season.

Still say he's not being helped though, Unsy can't tell his left from his right and keep playing players on the wrong side of the pitch.

Shot confidence and little understanding of positional play while surrounded by a sinking ship is going to result in horrific performances.

He badly needs a manager who sets up a defence correctly and a proper CB partner.

Keane might actually have benefitted from someone like that alongside him. We'll never know now. Lad is shot to pieces. Koeman's folly was to expect Jags or Williams to play a major defensive role this season. Well and truly backfired.
That said, Keane hasn't stepped up (yet). Simple as.
