You get the odd player like siggurdsson who has had a few years now of putting together great stats and a promising youngster like pickford, who you can watch away from the stats and be confident in, but they can't all be coming from there.
We went and got williams from swansea, martina from soton, bolasie from palace, gueye from villa and then all those from abroad are coming from poorer sides e.g. lokomotiv moscow, malaga, hadjuk split and ferencvaros.
We need to be buying more who have actually experienced success, players who have the winning mentality. We're always going to be 7th best if we're constantly plucking this type of player, because when the pressure gets too much they always crumble.

He's actually got a trait that very few top level CB's have these days - he's passive. Where is the aggression from the lad? what kind of CB pushes up to the half way line and gets rolled without at least dragging the attacker down? Dangles a weak leg out in an attempt to challenge?
