2017/18 Michael Keane

He does seem soft and certainly lost. In his defense, he got hurt earlier - he was one of the few contributing anything at the beginning of the season before that. He's clearly got size, decent quickness, and definitely has remarkable pace for his size. Think his foot skills are fine - keep in mind, genius Ashley Williams had the bad giveaway today not too unlike Jimmy Mac's against Bournemouth, maybe not quite as pathetic.

You gotta hope with his physical tools, he'll be okay in the longer run. But I didn't like the deal, either at the time. Klaassen was worse as it was unecessary, although the fact that they won't give him a look when our central midfield looks THAT bad is a joke. He's better than a couple of those jokers for sure.

The Harry McGuire shouts are a bit silly. I thought he'd be a better buy from a cost/benefit standpoint myself, but I'll admit now that Keane has way more upside than him. McGuire may have balls, but his athleticism isn't in the same league. LCFC has conceded 32 goals this year. It's not like they are playing great defense.

Does make you wonder if we purchased off YouTube highlights rather then actual scouting of the players, anyone can look good in highlights but it's how they perform in tough games/situations your looking for and other then pickford and possibly vlasic ( tho we've killed any confidence he had ourselves) they're like little kids on there first day at a new school! Tho maybe it's not so much themselves it's the lack of confidence in the players around them

I don't know, Sam Dyche was emphatic in his praise for Keane last year. He was clearly good at one point. Think he needs a run of games, still.

I thought he might have turned a corner after the Chelsea game but apparently not. He is probably on treble the wages young Holgate is on (at least) but he is consistently our worst centre back whenever he plays. Dyche must be laughing all the way to the bank. Fraud..
