the main flaw in Keane is his tendency to dive in, regardless of who he is playing against.

When he wins it, fine, but the majority of the time he doesn't and gets turned away from far too easily.

There's definitely a player there but at the moment he simply isn't good enough to warrant a starting place, and now the games are easing up a bit, should be back to third choice.
Yes there are times when he dives in, however I agree more along the lines of @Zeke above whereas Keane seems incredibly nervous at tackling.

Far too often yesterday and in other games previously he stands off defenders, backs off and simply gives them far too much room on the ball.

When he does eventually get close to them, which is usually when they've finally entered the penalty area, it's far too easy to drift past him.

Obviously I'm not saying it's always ideal to get in close to a man, but unfortunately he is making far too easy for the opposition to progress.

The brains trust up at Finch Farm need to examine the amount of times players cut inside him in the box leaving him like a stunned mullet. Theyve all got wise to this weakness.I dont envy the young fella though having to partner Williams The Ducker. Criminal the way he decoys shots.

Probably the signing I was most excited about. But if he never plays and is never on the bench, it doesn’t take much to put 2+2 together.

Yep. That could be the true and final test/making of him. If that doesn't work for him he's struggling. Thought he did ok against Chelsea. But, not so against Bournemouth and Man United. Didn't see how he played v WBA.
Ie. Put him next to someone with the quality to bail him out.

Can’t say am impressed at all, decent 6 yard box defender like all the CB’s we signed in Walsh’s Leciester revolution.

“Worked at Leicester honest Farhad”

The guy defends like someone who wears trainers at 7 a side and is terrified of slipping and doing the splits, half tackling with the wrong leg, backing off attackers and a bag of nerves, honestly 30m for your mate you hope is on the other team every week, SWEET

One of the most concerning things I’ve noticed is how poor he is at heading the ball. He rarely wins an aerial challenge (despite his height) and certainly doesn’t attack the ball.

He should have buried that chance at the end against Chelsea too.
