Boro need the points...
We want the points...
Play a similar counter-attacking game plan to that which saw us thrash City, and the points will be ours.

I know what you mean, and this unbeaten run will end eventually, but the thing that encourages me to think that
it won't be today is the statistic that says Middlesboro have only won four matches in the league this season.

I mean, if you supported them what would you expect to happen in this match?
True. They're supporters will be nervous, and hoping for a win rather than expecting it. Maybe I'm expecting us to win, hence my 'nervousness' too.

Any kind of win is an excellent result really.

Our challenge for the top 6 is on a bit of a knife edge. You expect Arsenal and United to win this weekend, so if they do and Liverpool were to beat Spurs as well, it's probably a wrap if we don't win, given our run-in isn't the easiest.

We have to win four of the next five and take points off United and Liverpool in April to have a chance IMO.

Probably yeah.

The bottom half have started taking points off that top 6 for fun recently, however, so it wouldn't be massively surprising to see all 3 of those teams drop points this weekend. In the same breath, it wouldn't be surprising to see Boro dig out a massive performance and pull off a 'surprise' result today.

It's really hard to guess what the league's going to look like in May.

Kind of reminds me of the time we went up there (95/96 season?) and won 2-0, I think Tony Grant scored. Comfortable game, we didn't need to get out of 3rd gear. I think similar today with any luck

Once again I think we will win this one comfortably, 1-3. Need to score first or there will be a fleet of buses parked in front of their goal.
Baines is due a goal.

I was thinking that a goal will probably come from a defender today (Mori was my guess).
So much spotlight on our attacking midfield and on Rom this week usually points to something else happening come the game.
