Yea I forgot Mccarthy has a niggle. I like Davies getting the game time tho so no issues. I've seen people moan about Barkley out wide but no reason he can't be effective.

He's no worse out wide than our other widemen. He'll cut in a bit I imagine, he's at his best when he's charging at defenders from space anyway

Happy enough with the team, the midfield excited me massively. Shame about McCarthy who'd I'd have liked to have seen start. Hopefully any hamstring is not too serious.

I'd like to see someone like Dowell or Walsh on the bench instead of Kone/Lennon.
