It may well be called Morris dancing mate but it wasn't anything like bells on their shoes and maypoles. From memory there was a guy banging out a beat on a bass drum, a couple of violinists, and a dance leader who stood in the middle whilst people danced in pairs around him. Really weird. The best way I could describe it music wise was a dirge.

It was folk music then.

Fair enough. It's just that I hear it increasingly and it's often alongside "we want to put this behind us and move on" - in other words not discuss summat awkward!

Im expecting a parcel.
I see the driver take out three boxes.
He knocks, i sign for mine.
He then asks me to take the other two boxes, for different houses in my road.
The look of disgust on his face when i refuse and explain that i know he hasn't even knocked on the doors to see if they are in !
