Whenever I've been abroad, I see families out together in restaurants, bars etc and the children are well behaved and never create a riot, running around and screaming for fun. Why does it happen here? Quality of parenting?

Kids in pubs shouldn't be allowed after 7.0pm, like a crèche in some pubs.

tbf it's not just the RS who do that. Anyone who shows the slightest allegiance to a football club becomes a club icon when they die.

But what really riles me is when a fan of that club chimes up in the manner you describe, and a fan of another club responds with 'so sad', and the first fan says 'cheers mate, really good of you to say that' like they're now the arbiter of grief! Drives me crazy.

Whenever there's a comments section on a news story where someone has done something deplorable you get a barrage of comments from utter neanderthals saying what 'they'd do to them'

Whenever I sign out of my e-mail I get taken to the MSN news articles and those comments sections are similar. This is a comment from today where the new article was about someone sentenced to death. Anyone against the death penalty is just as bad as the criminal, ok then.

A fella called me something unrepeatable once because, after first allowing his noisy 5 year old girl to choose to sit at my table, twice nearly knocking my beer over, then ENCOURAGING her to stay there by bringing her toys over, I quietly said "I'll go sit somewhere else then" albeit through gritted teeth.
He snatched her up with such venom that she immediately started balling and didn't stop,until eventually they left.
People should have compulsory parenting classes ffs.
