minor things that make you fume

My best mate of 25 years lives a few doors down from me... great bloke and lovely family man ...but.... he recently bought a dog and every morning without fail he let's the dog out into the garden at 7.30 to do its business. That's all well and good. ... bit it's now 10.00am and the dog is still out and hasn't stopped barking since 5 minutes after it first went out. This will happen again this afternoon and then again tonight ... for a minimum of an hour at a time. Everybody in the street has politely asked them to take the dog in but they just seem to laugh it off and think people are being over sensitive. I am going to have go around and just tell him.... the dog is a nuisance. ...would help matters if he bothered to walk the thing but I fear he only has it to appease his kids.

Thanks buddy.

The dog has separation anxiety. It doesn't know where it's owner is and is scared - hence the barking.

My neighbour over the road, did the exact same thing with his fog for months, expect his dog ( Labrador / Staff cross ) learnt how to open the front gate and used to get out, crapping everywhere.

Everyone told him and his missus what was going on, which he ignored. Two of the neighbours phoned the council, who served him with some kind of notice, telling him that if carried on, he'd get a big fine and potentially the dog could be impounded.

Guess what, it stopped immediately.

The lad maybe your mate, but he's sticking two fingers up at everyone around him.
