Fad words. The latest one seems to be 'bare' which just seems to mean 'very'. People seem to scramble to use these words as much as possible before dropping them when they get overused as they're not cool and exclusive any more.

Seems like the word 'lit' isn't bare cool anymore so it's been replaced.

I used to say the word 'bare' when I was 18. I'm currently 27. It's been doing the rounds for a while

I was most puzzled when a film was described to me recently as 'dank' - until I was told that this actually meant good (rather than cold, wet and smelling like the inside of a disused cave). I think I'm too old for all this.

at least next time i find myself at the Sao Paolo airport I can fume at a proper Brazilian level. Or better, given Brazilians don't seem to fume about terribly much.
