I had 49 years of that (Merchant Navy)Unpaid and unrewarded overtime
People being disgustingly racist and expecting you to just go along and agree with what they say.
Went to a site today and a foreign man was clearly making a joke, he then walked away and this man came out with how they shouldn't be here, amongst other things, etc and then later on in the day had a go at an Indian fella.
Not to their faces, of course, they're cowards like that.
Honestly feel like reporting him and getting him the sack. Only reason I wouldn't would be in case he has kids and he ends up losing his house or something.
The double standards when you roll on 1 minute late and receive a bollocking always amazes me.Unpaid and unrewarded overtime
No doubt worn with brown shoesLow crotch or no? Hate super tight fit pants but low crotch pants look like they're part of a clown costume.
Funnily enough I've just accidentally volunteered myself to stay late tonight. **** !!!The double standards when you roll on 1 minute late and receive a bollocking always amazes me.
Unpaid and unrewarded overtime
Stop it you honkyNot really a minor fume to be fair mate. So much casual racism about these days. It's horrible!
Unpaid and unrewarded overtime
The affect that getting 2 hours sleep has on the mind.
In the last hour i've hallucianated Phillip Scholfield talking about orgasms and making cum jokes on daytime TV, followed by him interviewing a real life "fairy".
Who needs drugs.
The problem with unpaid and unrewarded overtime is that it becomes the norm and also a benchmark of how committed to your company you are.
I used to work in an office where the middle / senior staff easily put in sixty - eighth hour weeks in and only got paid for forty.
They also worked at home unpaid and also whilst on holiday too.
They were terrified to be seen leaving their desk before 7pm and some of them where quite often in work for 7am.
When you worked it out, most of them were working up to 2 weeks for free every month.
My old firm were actually quite good about stuff like this.
On certain bank holidays (which were not holidays in Germany, the Netherlands etc), I had to check the main firms mailbox which just involved me going on my phone once an hour. Got 4 hours double pay for it.
I'm pretty against working more than 10 mins or so more than I should. I have been question on it before and I just say I manage my time effectively and not really much else they can say. As supervisor I've actually told people in my team many times to go home when they should when i have seen them working after their allotted time.. It's crazy how people get caught up in it, just becomes the norm and it always (unfairly) seems to be the lower paid staff.

I don't mind staying now and again to get jobs finished. But it frustrates me when people leave me work to be finished urgently but are out the door themselves at 4.55pm. I'm easily working an extra 10-15 hours every week atm so gonna need to try cut it down. Especially when I've exams to study for as well lol
