The A406 is my nemesis. Gridlocked at 7am every day. I went in early last week and was on it for 6:30 and I was still stood still at one point! London is ridiculous.

I used to refuse to do jobs to London. I turned down driving an Air Vice Marshall because of it.

I made the mistake of seeing what I could get in Liverpool/Manchester for what I'm paying for rent now. The answer is a nice modern 2 bed apartment overlooking the docks with a secure parking space. For the same money I get a dark room in a flat share in a council estate full to the brim of screaming Asians. Madness.

I've not been here long and hardly made the most of the city so it wouldn't be fair to judge on what I've had so far. There's loads of people I know in London though so that's a draw. Looks good on your CV too, apparently!

I didn't mind it there, the people are a bit bellish, it's impossible to drive through on time and it's a bit mad, but other than that it's not too bad.
