Another one is "You know what?" as if we're about to hear something significant. "You know what? I'm gonna try low-fat yogurt for a while....."

It is annoying but I suspect it'll fade into oblivion eventually like other fads.

Remember when everyone said "Absolutely!" the whole time. You don't hear that much now.

It's hard being a social commentator but it must be done or all is lost.

Went to five different shoe shops today and only one of them sold replacement shoe laces, and were nowhere near what I needed.

Drivers who don’t do the speed limit.

Just been driving down a single-carriageway, which has a speed limit of 50mph, the driver in front is doing 38-40mph. I started getting impatient, so overtook it when I seen a gap open up from the oncoming traffic and then he started to match my speed as I was overtaking! So I had to go faster to get past him, all the while the gap is now closing to the oncoming traffic.

The lanes are fairly big, you could fit a bus through the middle. There is no road signs to say that overtaking is not allowed and the white line was broken, meaning that I can go into the other lane to overtake as it isn’t a solid line. So I’m assuming I made a legal manoeuvre?

It’s a company car, so the last thing I need is someone with dashcam footage sending it to my company if it isn’t a legal move!

Then as you leave the 50 zone they'll keep doing 38-40 mph through a 30 mph residential and school zone. The horrors.

I agree it's horrendous, especially since they put the new road in as well.

Got to remember though not everyone will have been there before so if they are going a bit slower than they should be it's probably because they are crapping themselves going around the least intuitive piece of road on earth.
