minor things that make you fume

Gits with a golfing umbrella the size of a football pitch, remaining blissfully aware that other people have no wish to be poked in the eye by their behomoth.
Women who can't control their brats on a bus. Four 'darlings' screaming with a voice that would awake the dead, fighting and kicking the seat. I could clearly have exterminated the loathsome brats.
Not a pleasant journey home tonight. Some stupid no-mark rammed into the back of the bus at the tunnel toll booth necessitating a 15 minute hiatus.
Finally get home and was drenched by a speeding car. Known better days.

Many years ago I saw a guy with an umbrella. He had fixed two glass eyes to the ends of two of the spokes, dangling on a short piece of string. People gave him plenty of room. True that!

Someone mentioned it this thread a while ago and ever since then I've been noticing this loads...people walking out in front of moving cars. I don't even mean at a crossing, just people walking into the middle of the road. They usually shoot you an arrogant glance and quite often they are looking at their phone.

Is this a new thing or have people always done it?

People who go in the self-service part of the supermarket either with no clue what they're doing or with a truck load of stuff. Either way, they take way too long.
Guilty as charged to the former, they have so few checkouts open with big queues that they leave you no alternative, I use it tentatively looking around for assistanc, don't have fluking clue what I'm doinglol

People who use self-service parts of the supermarket and do somebody out if a job.

I detest queuing and go to extraordinary lengths not to he involved in a queue, but I'd rather do that than help a person go unemployed for the benefit of shareholders.

Ai & automation is taking over most jobs anyway...it's an unstoppable force and we the working class are in no way an unmovable object.

Doesn't make it riggt though eh? Society has list touch with 'right'.

I remember as a kid, nothing but enthusiasm for the future and what it might bring. Now that I'm 52 I'm looking ahead at the terrible world we"re creating and am genuinely glad I'll be dead before the inhuman, amoral, micro-controlled future arrives.,

Despite having no images, videos or downloads or apps my samsung mobile is 97% memory full.
Repeated hints to delete files...
Very close to smashing it with a lump hammer.

Yeah, that's a killer. Had a Sony die for that very reason.

Basically phones are a false economy. Buy cheap and have the turd firmware update your memory away within a year or two, or buy expensive and have the same happen over 4 or 5 years. There's a reason tech companies own half the planet.

Try deleting your system cache. This doesn't lose any data (or shouldn't) or settings. Google how to stating your phone type.
My Samsung involves switching off, then switching in again while pressing home and volume up (or is it down?). Then it boots into a mode where you have options, one if which is 'clear system cache

Phone inevitably runs better if you do this every now and then.

If its still poor, I've done S factory reset once or twice. Make sure you back up whatever stuff you want first though, as it wipes everything.
Good thing is, once you set it up afresh it will automatically reload all your apps from google.
