minor things that make you fume

It`s like that on certain footpaths around here.

Dog turd bags, like Christmas decorations, hanging from the branches of hedges and bushes.

Not that I have a dog, but I've read some people do this so they're not walking round with the bag and pick it up on their way back.....that could literally be crap and some people leave them but it's a reason I suppose.

" Little cars " are always worth giving a wide berth. They`re more often than not driven by someone sat on a cushion, with seat so far forward, that they have their nose on the windscreen, who`ve been driving for 70 yrs, yet never had an accident, but seen plenty in their rear view mirror ( when they use it ).

Had an old gent in front of me the other week turning left at a junction, he was going that slow I actually stalled my car!

Not had the best day today. My car cost £425 to MOT and service, and I found out my best mate of a 15 year old cat has cancer, and we may have to make a decision over his future on Monday. I’m absolutely gutted for the little fella. Love him to bits.
Sorry to hear about your cat. People who don't have pets don't tend to realise how closely attached you become to them. We've got a little Cockapoo called Tink (I wanted to call her Dixie) and I am dreading something happening to her.

I find taxi drivers are the worst offenders in my area so make a point of never letting them out at junctions, it avoids me going into a sweary rage at the lack of manners.
I can't by any stretch call myself a good driver, to do so invites ridicule, but I do reckon I'm a considerate driver.
With regards your post, I will only let drivers out onto a main road providing I do not have to brake thereby causing cars behind me to slow. Main roads are there to keep the flow of traffic moving. I can't abide those who slow to a halt to let a car out, which then wants to join the oncoming traffic which won't stop to let it continue.

Sorry to hear that mate.

The car is of no consequence in the grand scheme of things.

Get down to the pet shop, get a load of tame white mice, some cat nip and let him have the weekend of his life ;)
I honestly haven't given the car a moment's thought since I learned of the cat's condition. I'd pay that multiple times over to have him back to full health.

I'm visiting my parents for the weekend which was a bit of a last minute decision which I'm so glad I made because tomorrow morning may be the last time I ever see him. It's difficult to accept.

A considerate driver will give way to another in any case. If the other driver acknowledges your consideration then that is a bonus. Nobody owns the lane he is in.
Not really. You don’t have to stop to let people in, or slow down. That doesn’t make you any less of a good driver, IMO. The onus is on the driver trying to join the lane/road to find a safe gap in the traffic to do so.

Having a little manners doesn’t take much.
