I have come to realise that you are a totally different breed from us in the Modern World, but that's not to say you don't have your place.

You had everything in a day and age when you could get away with anything. You had to live a much harder life, but there were so many more opportunities for you to do what you liked most of the time. Life was simpler. You had it all.

You could buy a house and you weren't hassled by technology. Your education was free. The sense of Mystery pervading life hadn't yet flattened out with the stream of inventions and innovations to make our lives more 'amazing' every day. You could enjoy things with far more purity than today.

Your streets were safe, people cared about each other and the sense of community. People didn't half care what you wore because everyone was in the same boat. Your youth had it's place and wouldn't dare step out of line. Everyone knew where the line was.

Convenience was rare yet passion abundant. You worked for things you got because that's what you were taught. The way it was. You were driven by your elders to be better, because they had lived through Hell and you took full advantage of it.

If you had talent, you emerged from the froth to take your place amongst the Stars. Now you've created the Plastic Mould you discard anyone that doesn't fit. You were given the space to create a great world, and then you went and slapped your price on it.

But in the years since you had the World at your fingertips, you've let the idealism of your youth slip away. We have to now deal with the oldest of you who run the World with your corrupted vision. You took the innovation and yet to be formed social systems and you took over, and you commercialised everything. You made people pay for what you got for free. You've created layer upon Layer of bureaucracy when you breezed through the same situations with ease.

I'm annoyed at you, generation, for not raising your kids properly, and compounding your problems by being corrupt.

It's your generations greed and corruption for the World being how it is today. You blame it on Youth, but we really know the Score.
