minor things that make you fume

It’s hard to say, as a minor one hurts like hell to start with.

Get it raised up on a hot water bottle, with some Ibuprofen and see what it’s like in the morning.

There’s not much else you can do unfortunately
Could always get in touch with Joeys arl girl, build a new leg from a carboot dyson, the $6.50 man

Hearing and feeling a “snap” in my calf tonight playing football. Will be out of action for a while now. So gutting
Hope it recovers soon for you mate.

Was playing in a staff basketball match a few years ago, versus Year 11. We played every Friday lunchtime and a good number of kids would come and watch (I had my own fan club, with placards - but only fir the same reasons Eddie the Eagle Edwards had fans )

Anyhoos, one match I heard a pop and the young PE teacher stopped mid run and balled out a section of kids for throwing a tennis ball and hitting his calf. The rest of us looked around bemused while his embarrassing and furious rant went on and on and on. There was no sign of any tennis ball around. (Credit to the kids who just took the rant without making the situation worse by arguing back).

Hours later he realised he'd torn his calf and had made a terrible mistake. Egg on his face he sought out every kid he'd yelled at and apologised. Didn't stop the staff mercilessly taking the pi$$ out of him though. lol

He had a limp for weeks.

Could be your shoes as well ?

I always get most of my sprains with my trail running when the ground goes from soft to hard ( like now ), as my legs have got used to being in winter shoes, on soft muddy ground, with very little cushioning, to Summer shoes with loads of cushioning for the hard ground.

Also you start to get stuff when the soles have lost their cushioning too.
