I’ve just read in interesting piece on him which discusses the fact that as a former world class striker (I forgot he won Balon d’or) he is surprisingly ‘unloved’. He left Liverpool to win trophies and then when he tried to go back they didn’t fancy it. He eventually ended up at Man U and so the kopites hate him now.

Serves him right for being boring. I’ll always remember this clip of him when Southall takes a pop at him for being a tit.

I picked a mate up from Luton a few weeks back in the pick up/drop off bit cos they've binned off the short stay car park for some reason, I was there for about 15 minutes and thought it was £4, went to leave and it was £14. Tossers.

Have they still got loads of work going on there? I went a couple of years ago and it was a utter mess. I went through a pot hole which was basically just a 5 metre hole in the road.

Yep loads, it's a confusing place to navigate and the drop off area is utter chaos with crashes narrowly being avoided every few seconds.

Have you tried parking a few miles from the airport.
We were at Luton last year and parked at a site about 3 miles away and were bused in.
It was much cheaper and we were very impressed with the service.

Yes, thought about that but it’s a pain as well. I don’t mind paying about fifty quid when we go for a weeks holiday, but 80 quid for three nights away is getting daft. I thought train would be cheaper but not paying that much. Missus has found a fifteen percent discount now, so paid sixty seven pounds.

Idiots at the tip, well recycling centre who put stuff in the wrong skips, i mean how hard is it to put cardboard boxes in cardboard and the crap that was in them in none recycling.
I've been clearing my uncles old house and seen some right meffs down there recently who look like there more on the look out for things to take. For example I know glass goes in the metal skip, but not everyone knows that i guess, but some people do just seem to throw stuff in anything to get in and out

Not so much made me fume,more shake my head,I went the supermarket to pick up a few things and refuse to use self service,so Im waiting in line for the checkout and in the queue next to me is a couple,both very big boned,the trolley is heaped and not one bit of fruit or veg is in sight,its all pre-packaged,tinned or boxed including 4 trays of doughnuts,anyway the female of the species asks the other half to get her a drink from the cooler by the till,he passes a bottle of coke and she flips calling him stupid for not getting the diet pepsi,he knows she has diabetes

Good man, really annoys me the amout of people who use these, Supermarkets use them as a way of cutting staff hours and even laying some off, which sucks as most people who work checkouts are on low income anyway and obviously need the work

And they’re always the ones who are first to complain about the NHS too.

Exactly why I wont use them,no way they are taking my money then making me do one of the staffs job,I always go when I know I have tome to queue
