minor things that make you fume

People using the self checkout tills in supermarkets.

It’s stupidly busy, massive queues, and then you see people at these checkouts. They scan all their items and leave them in a big pile, and THEN start packing them into bags.

I’m sorry but what the f is wrong with people?!

Pack the stuff into bags AS you’re scanning it!! FFS. This enraged me like nothing else. I think it’s a damning picture of society. When it’s really busy, does it seriously not enter people’s heads? Just scan and pack together. Does the idea honestly not occur? Are people honestly that dim?

Seriously, one day the news will announce that a guy has gone mental in a Tesco and killed ten people with his bare hands. Itll

They are all stealing stuff and trying not to pay for the carrier bags mate.

This is fact.

If they actually were then it wouldn’t enrage me so much.

It’s the sense that the thought doesn’t even enter their heads which winds me up because it indicates everyone is either a) really dim witted or b) so totally self absorbed and selfish that it doesn’t occur at all to kind of, you know, hurry the f up so other people can get going.

Yorkshire Bank & Clysdale messing up and not crediting payments into peoples accounts today. Still waiting for wages that should have gone in at midnight.

There's plenty of their customers who haven't received their pensions or Universal Credit as well...I'll get by but some people and their familys may well be struggling to eat or put electric on the meter tonight. Disgraceful, not a minor thing to them

The problem is that in lidl and aldi where i go anyway you cant pack stuff till you've pressed the pay button. If you put your own bag on the bit to put the scanned stuff it sets off the light and you have to wait for staff to come over so it takes ages anyway. But I agree it is frustrating and stupid but the system makes it that way.

The mormons who've been lurking around by mine for the last few days. I know they are harmless but I cant stop thinking that they are only sent here to take money of poor people.

Also chuggers on bold street. Can't stand them and their false chumminess. Stop harassing strangers.

I thought it’s now BCE (before common era) and PCE (post common era), but amounts to the same thing surely?

Apparently AD only came about because some ruddy do-gooder monk had an issue with Emperor Diocletian and his persecution of Christians. No doubt the 6th century equivalent of Richard Littlejohn was bemoaning the PC brigade and their cultural niceties while claiming the country was going to Orcus in a chariot.
