Negative people.

We played a show last night. Tiny place, packed, great crowd, 2/3 of them dancing their arse off by the end, drinks passed up to the stage.. boss.

I'm sat at the bar afterwards and a friend of my girlfriend sits down tells me hhe had a great time, top show all of that... then shifts into "but what you're doing isn't original and there are like 5 other bands doing the same kind of presentation and performance, the songs arent really my thing. Also, two of you have kids so you're never going to be able to tour it. But yeah,I had fun"

Why bother? What do you gain from pissing on people trying to create something? Especially when nobody asked what you thought.

He was probably in one of the other five bands who couldn't get a gig and was trying to reduce the competition.
