minor things that make you fume

Having to put music/TV on every waking hour I'm in my flat to drown out the noise of the unbearable cûnt above me.

There's only so much music a man can listen to.

I can sympathise with you so much, pal. Seems to follow me wherever I go (touch wood, been lucky in my current gaff thus far). One guy decided he was the second coming of Rick Wakeman, to the point my daughter would come running from her room terrified by the crazy alien noises coming from downstairs. Bad days.

Haha, sounds horrendous!

Ah well, I've only got a few weeks left here before I can find somewhere else. Annoyingly my mate has a room in his flat that I can have for less than half of my current rent, plus it's in an absolutely lovely area. Far nicer than the poo hole I currently live in. Only trouble is it's probably too far to travel to work!

I travel 45 miles each way every day (albeit on a rather good train line) in order to have the house I have for the price I can afford. Do not completely discount the idea of travelling further if you get something good to go home to!

I'm weighing it up but to drive it would take an hour in low traffic, and it's only 25 miles max! That's not bad but it's the fabled A406 I'd be travelling on. It'd be 1 hour 45 mins door to door on public transport too. And I hate public transport!

Urgh, the A406. I once decided to drive from Buckhurst Hill to Fulham to watch the blues. Took me about 2 hours and I missed the first 15 mins of the match. Hellish.

Sounds like this one might just not work out for you. That's a shame.

Aye it's probably just a bit too far and a bit too much of a ball ache. Having said that, I have to be in work for 7:15 and I finish at 5(ish) so maybe it wouldn't be so busy on the roads at that sort of time. This is London though and traffic congestion is unreal!

Oh yeah, that's a different story! I reckon you'd be alright there. Evening might be busy but the morning should be ok.
I finish work next Wednesday so I may do a trial run on Thursday morning. Not too arsed about evenings as long as I can get to the gym most evenings and get a good 6-7 hours sleep. I'd save £340 a month in rent FFS!

Are you situated in London too?

Aye, live out Southend way but work in the city. About 1.15 door to door but I'm used to it now.

I've probably said this exact thing in this exact thread, but to all you thunderkunts who drive slower than lorries on motorways forcing them into the middle lane creating a bottlekneck, I wish nothing but fireaids upon you, you horrible horrible boring bells.
