Hi @Donald Twain
Christmas shopping.
I can't remember what I got my family last year to know what not to get them this year.
I have the wonderful help of Amazon and its "previous orders" section.

I'm doing mine all online for the first time this year so that will help me next Christmas. FFS.I have the wonderful help of Amazon and its "previous orders" section.

I was listening to The Wall so Mason.
A lad who I work with is a stereotypical science geek, dead quiet, greasy hair, unfortunate looking etc. but his biggest problem is his sheer lack of confidence. So much so, if he's got a question or not sure what to do, rather than come and ask for help he'll start lingering in your general vicinity tutting and sighing until you ask him what's wrong.
If you need a hand just ask! It's not difficult and people aren't going to get annoyed. JUST ASK.
It can be for some folk mate.
In a collaborative industry they should either pipe up or leave. I'd be massively annoyed if I had to work with someone like that. Especially as they'll get all the credit for the info you gave them.It can be for some folk mate.
Everyone is encouraged to ask questions, it's kind of the nature of being scientists. I've never known anyone so unsure of themselves they don't even check on what they're unsure about!
Yeah, I know what you mean. But it is possible that the lads awkwardness/science bent are not unrelated. That isnt a pop at scientists btw, just that, in my view, (not without experience), a lot of scientist types can also display autistic spectrum symptoms.
