minor things that make you fume

My wife has an auto-disagree setting and the switch that turns it off appears to be broken.

Amidst this global pandemic we set off to do some necessary shopping today - from our very small town to one large enough to have a Tesco. About 6 miles away. I used it as an excuse to air my classic car and we went the country route rather than a dual carriageway.

I was surprised just how many people we came across - a dozen cyclists, half a dozen walkers, tractors, buses, dust carts etc. I was surprised because all of the normal baines of my motoring existence were still out on the road in their usual number, despite everyone being told to stay indoors. Mercifully there were fewer cars on the road.

Of course I innicently expressed this surprise towards the end of our journey and said why. I can't remember her response word for word but the essence, as it became heated, was "No. You're wrong."

Choose your battles and give me an effing break ffs!

Need an end to this lockdown before I find myself having to lay a patio. lol

Went to the GP surgery today for a Warfarin check. Surprised how much traffic there was on the road, mainly cars. Loads of people about, walking, jogging. On my way back I went to the butcher's but didn't go in as there was a long queue.
