Businesses are weird like that these days. It's like they do not what your business and see you as some kind of inconvenience.

I rang my bank at 0815 who operate 8am to 8am. The message says " due to covid our call handlers are operating from home and dont start till 9am. You may experience a delay."

Seen this woman earlier today, was out on the Wirral Way, walked for about 2 hours, nice day, head cleaning and all that, anyway she was walking a dog, which had a dump, she bagged it which is fine then swung it around a few times then just launched it into some thick undergrowrth, i was like WTF

During an action film when 2 cars are side by side & racing eachother as fast as they can, both look across at eachother, both drivers trying to go as fast as possible, they both do the gritted teeth shot then a growl then change gear from 4th to 3rd which the camera always has a close up shot of & then cuts to a shot of the drivers foot ramming the pedal into the floor & then the rev counter & speedo shot after.
It bugs the crap out of me. Why would you in real life change down a gear to go faster when you in theory should already be going as fast as you can because you were racing or chasing another car. You were in 4th & the revs were up so the logical thing to do would find 5th to increase the speed further. Changing down to 3rd from high revs in 4th will cause engine braking & slow you down. The only way it doesn't slow you down is if the revs in 4th were not that high to begin with & you could still drop down to 3rd but then if that's the case then the driver was never really trying hard enough to go quickly to begin with.

Have had to face this every morning the past couple of weeks. The amount of people who do not know how to turn a car these days is ridiculous.

Even worse in Brisbane - give them an Amber and they're through it at speed while its turning red.
Give them a green filter though and they go round so slow its like they've turned into your Nana on a zimmer frame with wheels on

Quite correct @Disgruntledgoat Face masks have been mandatory on public transport since June 15th and non compliance can result in a fine , unless of course you are exempt on medical grounds .
