minor things that make you fume

Yeah properly annoys me that.

I used to flip over stuff like that in my old job. I used to do a quiz at lunch and it wound me up when people didn't know basic stuff. There was someone in there who didn't know who Stalin was. She was in her 50's! I don't expect them to know his whole life story (actually I do, there is no excuse not to but whatever...) but to not have even HEARD of him.

Sometimes I envy the ignorant, it must be nice to not have any thoughts in your head ever and to just be simple.
Agree fully. I count myself lucky that History was still being taught as a subject way back in the sixties.

Mrs C and I go for walks along a river near where we live, there is a pathway wide enough for 3/4 people to pass. It winds her up no end when the people don’t go into single file and leave a gap between them and us.
This reminds me, I was walking down a narrow path one time. There was a couple walking towards me and there was only room for two of us. On one side there was a pond, the other a thick hedge. I opted to go to the hedge side. They didn’t move out the way at all and inevitably our shoulders clashed. He was all “whoah hang on mate!!!”, because I didn’t submit to him. Tit.

NEVER buy a black car.

Finally got my car washed and my God it seems to have about 20 new dents and scratches since it was last washed, some proper BAD drivers around.
My current car's black and it's an absolute dirt magnet. Especially living on a busy road with no drive - constant dust and crap been thrown up by passing traffic.

Though I reckon if 20 new dents and scratches appeared I might be looking at my own driving first.... :D

Nar, I know I haven't done them, they are only minor anyway, just annoys me cos I can see them all now, might keep it dirty from now on.

I used to be the QA Manager in a ready meals factory ;)
Prior to the onset of European standards of QA in UK food manufacturers, the amount of slightly imperfect finished product that was able to be given to me as a contractor doing work in their factory was legend. Whether it be a bakery doing cakes for Fortnum and Mason who's packaging was slightly askew, or the edges to an M&S steak and ale pie that were singed. The Engineering Manager would fill your bags with the stuff until the QA manager put a stop to it. All spoiled product into the skip it went.
