Yeah properly annoys me that.

I used to flip over stuff like that in my old job. I used to do a quiz at lunch and it wound me up when people didn't know basic stuff. There was someone in there who didn't know who Stalin was. She was in her 50's! I don't expect them to know his whole life story (actually I do, there is no excuse not to but whatever...) but to not have even HEARD of him.

Sometimes I envy the ignorant, it must be nice to not have any thoughts in your head ever and to just be simple.

KFC are utterly shambolic, have been for years. Its not even hard stuff to get right, you can tell them you want a coke and a tango at the first window, they will confirm it with you, have a discussion about it and then 5 seconds later you are sat there with two cokes.

frequenting Chipotle in the US, my daughter always has a veggie bowl with tortillas, every time there is at least one or two random pieces of meat hiding in the veggie bowl! tried complaining but it seems covid rules mean that takeaway meals dont have to be right.

Perfect, even the timing worked out well as it ended up being 9 pm on a Saturday night (was worried is its an American thing)

Got to the end of the transaction and there was a 3 quid admin fee! What the hell for? It's not even a real thing!

My Brother in law is 54, at a pub quiz he didn’t know when WW2 started or how long it lasted!

I once ordered a burger at a gastro pub and specifically stated no cheese
as I am allergic and can become violently sick. Burger comes to the table and lo and behold it’s a cheeseburger .... I kept calm and politely explained again that I am allergic to cheese, the waiter took it away and assured me they would cook me a replacement right away. About 5 minutes later the server returned with my ‘freshly cooked’ burger... being suspicious at the speed of this I lifted the lid on the burger and basically they had scraped the cheese off the previous burger and replaced it in the bun. Outcome of this was that means my mate and I had a freshly cooked free meal and complimentary drinks .... amazing what response you can get when you threaten an establishment with health and safety
