minor things that make you fume

You from Virginia? Where abouts? I'm outside of Harrisonburg.

It’s interesting. I was camping with my two older sons in Culpeper County over the weekend. Only cicada we saw was attached to one of our backpacks.
Made the trip from Maryland

Norther VA. I work in DC. when the office reopens.
Why can't porn just start with the plumber coming round to service the washer? Like in the old days

"woke" everywhere

Boxes of Tacos shells.

They come in this weird pyramid type thing which is fine apart from the fact that the entry point is at the bottom so to get into them I need to cut the bottom of the pack, take off all the cellophane to then take the ones off the top but doing this is hard as you need to peel back said cellophane which results in at least a couple of them breaking during the process.

What on earth are you supposed to do to obtain maximum taco removal efficiency?

It’s beautiful outside in the garden today where I have been laying artificial grass. I was sweating like Goat in a Greggs and had sand stuck to every part of my sweaty skin…. I feckin hate sand at the best of times.
Feel a little better now as I’ve just had a cool shower.

I'm amazed at the knowledge retention of a great number of store assistants these days.
Recently whenever I'm in a store and can't find my particular size, I'll ask one of the assistants can they check if they have anymore in the back stock rooms.
The almost universal reply is "sorry, we've got no more of these, all that we have is on the shop floor already"
Somehow I've got my doubts.

The price of inkjet cartridges. I got an HP one and it cost more than the printer.
I concede that I'm probably behind the times but it's a frightful con.
I'm pretty sure printers are sold at a big loss and the profit is made back on the ink.
Take a look on amazon for alternatives that are compatible with your printer model. My Canon printer's official ink is like £50 for a pack but alternatives on Amazon that work just fine for about £15.

I've been down that road. My HP printer only takes HP cartridges. Despite settings on the software which suggest that cheaper alternatives can be used - e.g. Tesco ones - this has proven to be false. Luckily, I don't use the thing that much these days.
It's a good printer, mind you!

Packaging. Dont talk to me about packaging. You need lasers and chainsaws to get into "easy peel" tescos stuff these days ffs.

I ditched inlets because of this con. Over £1000 a litre for ink ffs. If I need to colour print i use a ropey old laser I found. The toner never dries up and is never wasted "cleaning the head". Not as good for photos - but in the rare event I want to print out a photo Ii plan to pop to boots or something with an SD card.

Another is fruit juice cartons. The customer has to puncture a plastic tab which swings open to reveal a spout.
I defy anyone to do this without spilling product. Even the pouring outlet is positioned for maximum leakage.
Note that I'm using technical type lingo in order to sound cool and detached. It's better than effing and blinding.

to be fair if they helped every single person who asked they'd get nothing done.
