In the last few years, every year I have to waste several hours phoning around for a new NHS dental practice to take me on. Every year I get a letter saying my current one going private and rejecting the government's NHS contract terms.

The NHS website lists every dental practice. None of the numbers near me turn out to be NHS. It's just rubbing it in.

NHS dental provision is woefully inadequate in one of the wealthiest countries in the world. Get this effing government out ffs!

Against my instructions my insurance company have paid out for my van as as total loss and effectively taken ownership of the vehicle. I am no longer insured on my own vehicle ffs.

I've never been treated with such contempt. Never, ever insure a vehicle with Hastings Direct.

This modern fad of wearing sliders with socks and trackies.... The weather can either be too cold not to wear socks, or warm enough not to wear footwear that covers your entire foot. It cannot be both.

I fell out with Hastings years ago. Can't remember what about but I remember never to use them. (To be fair I've got quite a mental list of companies never to use).

I have no issue with Mrs CT ordering stuff from Amazon but she seems to have a knack for ordering from UK based Chinese tat reselling scammers who then send an address in China for returns.

It's like she studiously avoids anything that looks even slightly reputable. No Prime logo? No reviews? Badly translated nonsensical selling blurb? Guaranteed she'll click buy then ask me to sort the return.
