minor things that make you fume

Parents in public places like train, cafes etc.
Who to entertain their children just set their kid up on an iPad without headphones inflicting us all with the noise of crap kids TV or kids games.

Why make me suffer from your inability to buy headphones or entertain your child

I'd rather that than the parents letting the little spawns run around, screaming and jumping on seats etc etc, but yes, I agree with you

I think so, too. I've seen plenty of evidence that supports this.

The age old trend of people becoming more conservative as they age is dying as people in their late 30s and 40s are still not where they expected to be despite doing as their elders instructed. Also, social media, for all its faults, has put a huge spotlight on inequality. It's not as easy to turn a blind eye now. People have become aware of what is a large scale operation to push more people in to poverty so that they can be controlled.

Once people of this age and lower start getting in to major positions of power hopefully we still start to see real change. Unfortunately, a lot of damage has already been done to the lives of the non rich, and with devastating climate change on the horizon it will make things harder. I'm just glad I have no dependents, as depressing as that sounds.
The trouble is that those who get into major positions of power tend to have lived their lives insulated from a lot of hardships. Politics is a career straight from public school and even at local level is rife with nepotism.

Modern tech obsolescence.

Monday= I fork out £300 on a shining new piece of kit. The nice young assistant tells me its 'state of the art'.

Friday= Major fault and back to the store.

The same nice young assistant exclaims 'wow where did you get this antique'.

I bought it here, you sold it to me, and here's the receipt    .
