this leads on to people's over reliance on Computers (and thus The Computer says.........No)

coupled with the demise of old style scrap yards in general where parts were grouped by make Ford, BMW, etc
or type fuel pump, power steering pump

And also the demise of the man or woman behind the counter that knew what and where everything was - and could tell you
"if there's not one in the Ford section, try the Mazda section they used the same part"

But No, nowadays you can't go in, there's a big sign saying no admittance due to Health and Safety requirements
And if you can't quote a part number ABC123XYZ789/A
The guy can't even ask the computer for it to eventually probably say No

Chicken often smells foul (heh heh) but is still quite edible in my experience.
