Bought a new router because the Virgin Hub thing is garbage and drops out constantly on upstairs connections. Go through the set-up and sort the passwords out etc using the app on my phone. Simple enough.

Trying to connect my PC to the new Wifi signal was driving me potty. Wouldn't accept the same password that works fine on the phone, the network key printed on the router or anything else. Reset everything, mess around with settings...still no luck. Try and get the upstairs TV & Firestick to connect to see if it's a PC issue....no luck with them either. Much googling and frustration.

Try again and looking at the password on the app/phone it seems to have an extra letter when hidden. But that letter isn't there when displayed....I'd accidentally put a space at the end when creating the new password. God knows how I confirmed it without clocking the space.

Everything works fine now. I hate me.

Two things that seem minor but are really starting to wind me up, firstly loaves of bread with odd number of slices, I am not going to eat one piece or three pieces,only equal number of slices.
Secondly TV volume, each channel seems to be different 14 on one channel then has to be changed to 24 on another, adverts come on and they shatter your eardrums, turn it down, programme comes back on and you can't hear a thing

Can I recommend you use an app, such as Patient Access, which gives the date you can resubmit your prescription requests. You still have to go and look, to check the date, but if you do that the repeat prescription can be sorted with the doctors.

Yeah that’s what I’ve done,it’s not a repeat medication though - so I have to see a gp, and beg for it.
