We talking a cough / snotty nose, or getting on board mid cardiac arrest?

Outrageous, you would deny someone the opportunity to go to work and earn a living, most likely resulting loss of their home, their family, their pet dog and place on the season ticket waiting list, all over a runny nose.Would genuinely rather deal with a cardiac than someone sit next to me with the sniffles
At least you've shown the courtesy to others of wearing one, though ideally we shouldn't feel pressured to be present at work while ill.Outrageous, you would deny someone the opportunity to go to work and earn a living, most likely resulting loss of their home, their family, their pet dog and place on the season ticket waiting list, all over a runny nose.
Savage.
on a more serious note, I have to use a train to go to work, and I does annoy me when folk are coughing and spluttering all over the show without a tissue in sight, often barely covering their grid even. Although this week it I’ve been travelling with a cold, albeit I at least wear a face mask!
Have to say it’s mind boggling how the entire nation were wearing them for months on end, they’re a right pain in the backside.
There is a tipping point though. The idea that someone isn't fit to work over a sore throat, headache, runny nose or other mild symptom is just nonsense the majority of the time. I'm not one for dragging myself into work but easily managed symptoms can be managed. At least you've shown the courtesy to others of wearing one, though ideally we shouldn't feel pressured to be present at work while ill.
Infectious symptoms, I would have thought we should all have learned enough about the value of breaking Infectious links. You are sick, you can and will make others sick, don't go in and shouldn't feel coerced to by a corporate culture that doesn't care about youThere is a tipping point though. Some people need the hours unfortunately and there is plenty of toxic management culture, especially in the service sector, where calling in sick has retributions.Infectious symptoms, I would have thought we should all have learned enough about the value of breaking Infectious links. Hence the last line of the postSome people need the hours unfortunately and there is plenty of toxic management culture, especially in the service sector, where calling in sick has retributions.
Not everyone is being a martyr.
What about four score and seven instead of 87?People who say 'half a dozen'....just say Six!
It's well easier.
If it's something serious or something that hits hard like a very bad cold / flu then sure. But a very minor case of the sniffles is just something people deal with.Infectious symptoms, I would have thought we should all have learned enough about the value of breaking Infectious links.
