Not wrong there! Traffic lights too.....If you're not off within an attosecond of the lights going green, you're beeped/tailgated/flashed by the driver behind until they turn.

And without wanting to appear racist, the asians are complete tools on the roads there. Must have got their licences in a Christmas cracker, or with a box of cornflakes!

I reckon anyone who passes their test in Australia (esp. Adelaide) can negotiate places like New Delhi like a stroll in the park.

A Saffa mate told me that due to white houseowners regularly having it off (willingly or unwillingly) with black house staff, black Saffa women married to a black Saffa man would occasionally have a white baby, because their grandmother or great-grandmother got pregnant from a white man. Was known to call all sorts of trouble with the black husband accusing his wife of infidelity.

Yet interesting they have a rather stringent licensing regime (must pass your theory before you can set foot behind a wheel, P plates limiting your speed/passengers etc), so it's surprising the driving standard is so bad.
 

Two of my friends have the same idea's as said above. My friends girl comes from a black family, mum is black and i think the dad is mixed race, the kids are all dark skinned except my mates better half who is tanned, i would even go as far as saying maybe asian complexion ! My mate always says things like 'yeah yeah i know mate my bird is black so i get were your coming from' ! I always give him the look like your girl is not black - even as far as calling him out on it infront of everyone.
Other friend has a white mother and black father, as a result he is half cast also, literally mums side are pale, dads are black, yet when it suits him the race card is pulled out, whilst camping my mate said a joke that involved the word sounding like trigger, everyone fell in silence except me, i laughed so hard because i knew why everyone went quiet, so i looked at my mate and said what are you snarling for your white maybe half cast at best ! He just looked stunned :eek: cue my mate who said the joke going a little red in the face :blush:

Giggling now at the thought of my mates faces who agreed but didnt want to say what they were thinking lol Yeah let Bernard take the fall !

That's WHY they have strict standards. Doesn't work though. Don't get me started on P platers!

Chicken and egg situation? Which came first the rules, or the rule breakers?

It's an odd paradox to have strict standards and such a poor quality of drivers. Rebellion against the system?

Aussies are by nature rebellious rule breakers, like the Irish - I qualify as both btw.
I found living in England (ok London) that drivers generally followed the road rules and etiquette. However, if someone BREAKS the rules then people get REALLY annoyed.
 
The gang of teenage bellend lads that stand outside the shops in the evening, full on North Face, hoods up, hands down keks and don't move out of the way for anyone using the shops or the pavement. One day they're going to do this to the wrong person.
 

men in the gents at the urinal who don't wash their hands after, in particular men in the gents that more or less w*nk themselves off trying to release every last drip...then turn and head for the door. I gota touch that door handle to get outa here, disgusting.
Im not a clean freak at all, I can only imagine what the OCD ppl would think of this

WHAT? You've never been on the A406 then!

I've never seen this before, but you get people turning left on to slip roads just to undertake a few cars and then they pull back in again. Not to sound racist, but 99% of the time the offender is Asian or black. Makes me rage.
 
A wife with night terrors....
I have spent many nights lying on my belly Just to have her kick or punch me in the kidneys coz she's seen a floating face. I said to her..."ffs, When do you EVER see floating faces during the day....Its a 'KIN DREAM "...The best one was When she told me in a very calm tone that something was standing next to me peering at my face about a foot away....I didnt sleep for a week. B*st*r* !!!
Love her dearly...but Jebus...Enough is enough.
