No Smoking stadiums with no designated smoking areas. Goodison is one these days. People get nervous during matches let them smoke in a designated area ffs.

I thought the Gwladys Street toilets were a designated smoking area...

My work phone number used to belong to my old project manager (who I hated), who left the company some months ago. About 3 times a day I get a call from someone asking for him.

"Hello, is this <insert name>?"

To avoid having the same long drawn out conversation which I'm thoroughly bored of I just say:

"Sorry mate, I think you've got the wrong number."

To which they usually reply:

"Oh, well I've got this number down as <insert name>???"

WELL IT ISN'T HIS NUMBER ANY MORE TAKE THE HINT FFS!

That's London for you mate, wouldn't get that in Liverpool.

Agree that it seemed a total charade for the CPS to pursue that - two closeted lesbians having a fall out, with a bit of role play that got out of hand.
Guilty as charged today, though, on 3 of the 5 counts. Seems like a miscarriage of justice IMHO.

I worked with 2 girls who had a very similar story. Except they never had sex and 1 girl didn't realise it was the other girl. This weirdo is now head of HR.

Weird - hard to believe how that can happen.

The woman (Gayle Newland) is definitely not on the level, and was prob guilty of some shady behaviour. But sexual assault? The complainant was a normal(ish), sexually experienced woman - claimed to have had sex ten times with someone she thought was a filipino man in a mask and bandages, and was shocked to discover it was her friend Gayle with a strap on (!?) No chance.

This x a million. I hate my current role, which seems to be 1% actual valuable output and 99% needless admin and presentations that no-one cares about, in order to fulfill the whims of my manager.

Add pointless meetings to that. In one of my jobs every Monday morning, there would be a managers meeting at 8am ( you got paid from 9am ). There would then be a general staff meeting at 9am, then a senior management meeting at 10am.

At every meeting the exact same things were discussed !

I think it was really a case for psychological intervention for both parties rather than court proceedings.Although it would have sent ex News of the World hacks into a frenzy.
