On a similar note, when your out on a run and a gang of kids take up all the pavement and not one of them will hold back two paces, or walk ahead two paces to let you pass, do take great pleasure barging passed them, it's worth the abuse that's shouted at me.

someone has moved the test environment to live environment OVER CHRISTMAS WITHOUT TELLING ANYONE and they hadn't done it via git so we couldn't just revert the changes instantly. And they hadn't taken a snapshot

Basically someone had coded a lot of crap and put it in a working system in such a way it was an absolute nightmare to get it back to normal. With no change control

Git is a hub where you can push or pull your code from but it has version control. you're always supposed to publish from your project git so that if it's rubbish you can revert to an earlier verison. And yes he was a git as well!

Never understood the point of them. How do they dry your clothes when there's no room for them to tumble about? I'm not going to half load my machine so it can dry properly, that's a massive waste of energy.
