Keep doing it mate it's not a losing battle, you're fighting the good fight and I'm sure those that you help really do appreciate it. Plus it impresses the opposite sex !

Just because they're so far up their own arses and forgotten what common decency is doesn't mean you have to join them.

You are right mate. I'm determined not to be down trodden by these money obsessed Southern bells! Funnily enough I noticed a girl on the tube seemed quite impressed when I gave up my seat, as if it never happens any more.
 

This one drives me insane every morning.

Close to where I work is a Chinese Super Market, proper weird and it stinks of dried fish.

Every morning on my way to work there is anywhere between 2-15 Chinese pensioners that take the bus in the morning to go to this supermarket. Now, while it can be annoying listening to up to 15 pensioners loudly conversing in whichever Chinese dialect it is first thing in the morning that isn't what makes me fume. What makes me fume is when we get off of the bus instead of walking to the cross walk the pensioners will hold up four lanes of traffic as they cross the road IN FRONT of the bus that just dropped them off preventing it from continuing on its route.

One of these days a car isn't going to see them walking out from in front of the bus and there is going to be an accident. I won't have a lick of sympathy, the cross walk is a 2 minute detour for them to cross the road safely.

On my way home tonight I saw an old lady struggling to carry her suitcase up a flight of stairs, so I took it for her. She was beaming and must have said thank you about 10 times.

I'm such a fking great guy.
