minor things that make you fume

People who don't say thanks when you hold a door open for them.

I usually just say something along the lines of "Yeah no problems it's fine" dead loud just so they know how angry I am in the hope they'll review their actions later on at home or something.

Idiots.

The persistent Arslikhan of 'her madge' AKA 'Brenda' AKA the queen

CH4 racing just now....Showing the arl mare getting out of the bentley after it's parade past the plebs; then it had to play the national anthem (Even she's sick to bleedin' death of it) and show it being sung by some over-enthusiastic, crawling turds who were all trying far too hard to out-sing each other...

Just stop it. You ain't getting any benefit from it, and she won't thank you for it.

She and her family get plenty of benefits you never see the Mail moaning about her and her Greek immigrant husband

This particular fume annoys me. So you'd rather call HMRC and be passed from person to person as they try to find someone who can help you with your specific query? The automated bit is to get you to the right person through your own selection, rather than some receptionist choosing the wrong extension and sending you down a blind alley. Notice how, once you get to speak to someone, you almost never get passed on again? Cos the automated routing is programmed to get it right.

It can feel a bit cold going through the process but the alternative is much more painful.

I'm expressing my opinion mate. Save your laborious pedantry for someone else.

Cooking pasta everytime you think its just the right amount and you end up with a heap the size of Everest on your plate

Depends on how much you want, or what your portion size usually is.

I usually do around 70-75g per person. That's about a bunch of spaghetti approx 2/3 inch round - or about 65 bits of fusilli/penne* if you're using the packet gear.

* I don't count it, I just pour it out into a bowl on me digital scales. I just happened to notice 1 bit of penne/fusili weighs approx 1.1g
