The dog barking his head off to come inside from the garden, opening the door to let him come in and then he just sits on the grass staring.
Happened to me in my youth and my mate the perpetrator, we still go for a pint all these years later and he's mentioned it a couple of times and laughed and I'm like feckorf that bird you lost me was gorgeous.
Rip off ice cream vendors situated at places that you have little or no escape from particularly when you have kids with you, and just as if to prove it's not an isolated incident both times recently have been either side of the border, Beecraigs Country park,Linlithgow and Wirral Country Park on both occasions wanting £3 for a small tub of cheap whippy ice cream and I've got a gang of wide eyed grandkids with me......well you can't say no.....

Did that once meself in what used to be the abbey (Santander now). Had permission of sorts - the girl at the counter was me best mate's bird...
Until she phooked me off & sent me back, the witch... To make matter worse, she closed her part when I was at the head of the queue, legit...
