I killed a seagull once.. with my car. .....he wasn't on a bike though.... he wasn't seagull kenievel or anything. The news leaving out parts of the truth to glorify a memorial.
Happens all the time, especially wannabe gangsters killing each other and it is never mentioned and just serves to drum up fear in an area, despite the attack being targeted and therefore no risk to anyone else as a rule.
My point is though there was a funeral today of a teenager killed whilst riding his bike in Liverpool, tragic story, your heart really goes out to the family involved. What i would want to know is whether being hit by a car on his bike is along the lines less of a accident by the motorist and more the victim riding dangerously? On my way home i see it all the time, kids running/riding out into traffic thinking it is funny. the type of actions that look like it could lead to an accident one day. You pray it is not down to that but if not then one day one of these kids/teenagers will be killed as a result of riding out into incoming cars.
At the end of the day it is still tragic and a sad story though.
Remind me next time I see you that I owe you a smack for this. Ffs lad.I killed a seagull once.. with my car. .....he wasn't on a bike though.... he wasn't seagull kenievel or anything.

It's the fault of the surveyors for giving us so many scope gaps which causes us to gather prices off contractors who then hold us to ransom. That's because your spending too much money on the job
Sounds like you need new QS's. They should be setting up subcontracts to make sure tuff like this doesn't happen. It's the fault of the surveyors for giving us so many scope gaps which causes us to gather prices off contractors who then hold us to ransom.
Aye, and because we're a project management company on this project and not the main contractor every variation goes through a slow and painful process which takes weeks.Sounds like you need new QS's. They should be setting up subcontracts to make sure tuff like this doesn't happen.
